The above image was created as part of a personal project. You can view some of the ugly process shots below. It is always fun to see a raw and messy sketch grow piece by piece into a finished illustration. 

This was to pay homage to my childhood. My brother and I had a red wagon that we used for everything. Some days it was a sail boat with a bed sheet for a sail. Some days it was a rocket-ship heading to explore the untouched universe. 

And some days it was just a red wagon, pulling around two bored kids.
